Andrew joined the Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust as Chief Executive Officer in October 2016. Central London Community Healthcare Trust is a large stand-alone community NHS Trust, with 4,000 staff delivering services to adults and children across ten London Boroughs and Hertfordshire.
Prior to joining Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust Andrew was Regional Director for NHS England's South of England region.
From 2012 to 2014 as the Managing Director of North East London Commissioning Support Unit, Andrew led a team helping commissioners to improve services, and whilst at the CSU he was seconded nationally to be Programme Director for the Better Care Fund, leading a team drawn from NHS England, the Department of Health, the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Local Government Association. This role focused on helping local areas further develop their plans for integrating care.
He held a variety of senior positions in NHS Tower Hamlets, including Director of Primary Care from 2005 and acting Chief Executive in 2011. During this period, primary care in the East End of London was transformed, with significant performance improvement and investment. Andrew has also worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and at the Terrence Higgins Trust.
