NCL response to Covid-19

The pandemic poses an unprecedented challenge and we are sharing what NCL, local authorities and our wider partners are doing in response .

Our plan and areas of focus

Our plan has 13 different areas of focus. Each area (or workstream) has a senior responsible officer and a management support lead. The work to deliver the plan is being undertaken by staff working together in a matrix structure across the partnership organisations. Each person is not named below but we acknowledge the work carried out by dedicated staff in each of the 28 partnership organisations.

Our digital programme includes the introduction of Health Information Exchange and HealtheIntent to health and care organisations across north central London

Estates

Making the best use of the buildings we own and making sure they are fit for purpose

Proposed move of Moorfields Eye Hospital’s City Road services  

  • The proposal to move Moorfields Eye Hospital, University College London’s Institute of Opthalmology and Moorfield’s Charity to a new site at St. Pancras in London has been approved (13 February 2020)
