Public consultation on proposal to move of Moorfields Eye Hospital Services

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is proposing to build a new integrated centre for eye care, research and education on land that may become available at St Pancras Hospital. All services currently provided at Moorfields Eye Hospital on City Road, London would then transfer to the new centre.

The NHS commissioners of Moorfields’ services, held a public consultation between 24 May and 16 September 2019 to consider the proposal.

The consultation is now closed and we would like to thank the thousands of people who took part and shared their views on the proposal. It is not too late to have your say, you can still submit your views by emailing oriel@nhs.net or calling 020 7521 4684.

A decision on whether to proceed to the next planning stages will be taken by the NHS organisations who plan and buy Moorfields’ services by January 2020.
