Award ceremony to celebrate the invisible staff of General Practice
September awards ceremony for retiring or have retired GP practice staff
Staff from GP Practices who are retiring or have retired will be honoured at a special awards ceremony organised by Royal College of General Practitioners in partnership with North London Partners and East London Health and Care Partnership London in the autumn.
The ceremony aims to recognise the contribution of Primary Care staff to the NHS and the important role they play in caring for others and helping people. It is open to any staff member including GP, practice managers, cleaners, reception staff or other colleagues who have retired or are planning to retire between 1 January 2017 and 18 September 2019
Jo Sauvage, chair of Islington CCG and a clinical lead for North London Partners said: “General practice is a very rewarding career. But caring for others, at the ‘frontline’ of care, can be challenging, and we want to acknowledge the vital work of those who work in GP surgeries.
“We want to say thank you for their commitment and work to support their local communities by working in general practice.”
